Obituary of Margaret Elaine Bothwell
Margaret Elaine Bothwell, lovingly known as “Maggie,” passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, at the age of 76, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on September 19, 1948, in London, Ontario, to Stuart and Evelyn McBryan, Maggie brought joy and warmth to everyone she met.
Maggie will always be remembered for her amazing sense of humor, her compassionate and caring nature, her unwavering dedication to family, and her vibrant personality as a true social butterfly.
She is survived by her loving husband, Greg Bothwell, her children, Craig Bothwell (Miranda) and Kristina Bothwell (Matt Douglas), and her cherished grandchildren, Aurora, Priya, Caius, and Callum. Maggie is also survived by her sister, Lynda Daugherty (Dennis), her brother, Ronald McBryan (Debbie), and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Stuart (2001) and Evelyn (1999) McBryan, and her sister, Lorna Brain (1988).
A private graveside ceremony for immediate family will be held. A celebration of Maggie’s life will take place January 26th at Forest Legion from 11-3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Diabetes Canada in Maggie’s memory.
