With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Jean with her family by her side on March 12, 2024, at 83 years of age. Loving wife of the late George Chevrier, late George Burr and Bill Dawson. Dear mother of Barb Hussey (Dave), Jeff Chevrier (Debbie), and Rob Chevrier (Shannon). Treasured grandma of Cory Hussey (Jessica), Chad Hussey (Delayney), Brittany Chevrier, Meagan Chevrier, Kyle Chevrier (Natalie), Blaine Chevrier, and Allison Chevrier. Great grandma of Reed Hussey and Emmy Hussey. Loving sister of the late Kay Tracey (the late Jerry), the late Joan Malenfant (the late Vince), the late Jackie Valentino (the late Mike), the late Pat Blais (the late Don), Mary Shuttleworth (John), Bernard “Sonny” Collins (Brenda), and the late Margaret Pearce (Gary). She will be sadly missed by everyone in the Chevrier family as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jean was a dedicated and long-time volunteer with the Life After Fifty. She retired from the John F. McGivney Centre in Windsor after many years of service.
Cremation will take place and a life celebration will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Windsor Cancer Foundation or to the Erie Shores Hospice (Erie Shores Health Foundation).
