With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John after a hard-fought battle on July 27, 2024, at 80 years of age. Dear husband of Carrol (nee Quick) with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage. John is survived by his brother-in-law Wayne Quick (Ruby). He will be sadly missed his other close relatives.
For more than 29 years, John dedicated himself to teaching Physics and Mathematics at St. Clair College. He had a passion for reading and hunting, pursuits that took him to many places including Africa. His absence will be deeply felt, and his memory will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
John’s visitation will be held at St. Stephens Anglican Church (Howard Ave. in Oldcastle) on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of the service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church.
