With heavy hearts we announce Ernie’s passing in London on September 24, 2023, at 68 years of age. Son of the late Ernie Rubik and Diana Hussey. Loving father of Brooke, Jennifer and Jay (Jody). Treasured grandpa of Hanaa, Haley, Abby, Jessy, and Keria. Dear brother of Debbie Sweetman (Bob), Jody Menyweathers, Predeceased by Phil Ruby and Mickey McCarthy. Ernie will be sadly missed by Denise Kelly and his good friend Dan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ernie was a very kind and generous person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was a former employee of Dominion Collison for many years. Ernie was proud to be a sharp dresser and loved playing his harmonica. A private family goodbye has taken place at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North in Es.
