On October 1, 2023, Doug passed away at home with his wife Marilyn at his side on a beautiful Sunday morning. Dear father of Will and Jenna Peltier. Beloved Papa and best friend to Isabella Peltier. Doug was cherished by his family and many good friends who all loved him for his quick wit, kindness and loving heart. After retiring from General Motors, Doug and Marilyn hit the open road in their RV and had many great adventures in their travels. They just celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary and shared a wonderful lifetime together.
He loved cycling, fishing and kayaking and always lived life to the fullest. The Angels rejoiced on Sunday when Doug joined his mom Ruth, mother-in-law Shirley and his precious daughter Jenna in Paradise. Doug will make another journey to Crystal River to embrace the beautiful waters he so loved. Family and friends are welcome to our home to share happy memories and warm hugs.
