(nee Morden)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Cheryl on October 19, 2023, at 79 years of age. Cheryl was the beloved wife of Don with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage. Loving mother to Dawn Schmauch (Mike) and John McIninch (Allison). She was the treasured Granny of Jacob, Cara and Amelia. She was the dear sister of Barrie Morden, Judy Ogden (Fred) and Pamela Vallieres (Rick). She was preceded in death by her siblings Marvin, Alan and Donna. Cheryl is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was a devoted wife, and mother. She always put her family first and would do anything for them. She was tremendously proud of her children and grandchildren, she loved to share stories and photos of them with those she met. Cheryl retired from Hiram Walkers where she worked the majority of her life. Cheryl was fun loving and engaging, she had a wonderful sense of humor, and her laughter was infectious. She loved visiting the East Coast and enjoyed the summers her and Don spent there. She played a mean hand of cards, and her family and friends will always remember fun evenings spent playing games with her.
Our hearts are broken, she will be forever missed and never forgotten. To ahonour her wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may share condolences online at www.kennedyfh.com. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
