It was with heavy hearts we announce Bob’s passing on May 2, 2024, at 67 years of age. Beloved husband of 24 years to Diana O’Connor (Shepley). Treasured dad of Ryan (1981), Robby O’Connor (Serena). Dear stepdad of Kayla Lynn (Nathan). Best grandpa of Finn and Lily. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Sadie O’Connor and son-in-law of Glenda and the late Keith Shepley (2013). Brother of Mary Leroux (late Tip), Elaine McCarthy (Larry), Ricky (Joanne), and Kimberly. Predeceased by Maureen, Kathy, Donnie, Gerald (Ellen), Patrick, Jackie, Jo-Anne (late Glenn), Sharon (late Gil) and Jim (Diane). Survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a retiree of Ford Motor Company and LiUNA! 625 after many years of service. He was also a member of Unifor Local # 200. Bob is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North Es on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The life celebration will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
