It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Murphy announce her passing on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 86. Barb will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, John; children, Cheryl Huczel (Rick), John Murphy (Judi), Jim Murphy (late Shelley), Patty Murphy (Steve) and Bonnie Adams (George). Treasured grandma of Michael (Ann Marie), Jennifer (Greg), R.J. (Cassandra), Christopher (Sara), Zachary (Paige), Karleigh, Tara, Matthew (Melissa), Marshall (Holly), Ryon and Paige. G-grandma of Ryan, Lola, Nick, Tommy, Nolan, late Carson, Lucus, Max, Myles and Macen.
She will be missed by her brother Butch Rawlings (Mavis), sister Gloria Papak, sister-in-law Bernice Rawlings. Barb was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Rawlings, brother Joey, Jack, Bob, Chuck and sisters Dorothy and Virginia. Sister-in-law of Helen Cahill and Rod Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Barb was very talented including making wedding cakes as well as quilting and sewing. Visitation will take place at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North in Es on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 2 p.m. until time of the Life Celebration at 5 p.m. Donations may be made to Community Living Es or the charity of your choice.
