Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 80 years.
Beloved husband of Doreen (Brubacher) Frey for 56 years. Dear father of Christopher David Frey and MacKenzie Dale Frey, both of Kitchener. Brother of Lovina and Amos L. Martin. Brother-in-law of Mrs. Mary Ann Frey, Oscar Martin, Gord Brubacher (Donna), Carol (the late Lorne) Brubacher, Jim Brubacher (Rosemary), and Ken Brubacher. Special uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Amos W. and Lucinda (Brubacher) Frey, brothers Aden Frey, Henry and Martha Frey, Noah and Florence Frey, Allan Frey, and sister Sarah Martin.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
All are welcome back to the funeral home for a time of refreshments and fellowship. In David’s memory, donations to St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation – Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home.
