Passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 92. Son of the late August and Annie Zadow. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Zadow (nee Reinert). Dear father to Steve (Heather), David (Corby) and Doug (Kelly). Grandfather to Jonathan, Jennifer, Jessica, Cassandra, Cody (Bridget), Zachary (Melissa) and Paige. Great grandfather to Emma, Carter, Barrett, Deacon and Luke. Norman was survived by his sister Hilda and brother Delmar (Priscilla).
Norman was a loving father and friend, whether it be welcoming you into the family home or the hunt camp. He loved to fish anywhere, especially down at his lot on Wilbur Lake. He loved to hunt with his family out in back of Golden Lake, his garden was always filled with vegetables and flower beds filled with lushes colour. He loved to play horseshoes and cards and he spent many hours in the bush. He was an avid entertainer, he would always have a song to sing you, many funny stories to tell and a joke or two.
Norman’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville where visitation will take place on Friday, September 13 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, September 14 from 9:30-10:30 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville. Burial at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
