John Shayne Watson, better known as “Jack”, of Pembroke, Ontario, passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2024 in his 59th year.
Jack was predeceased by his sister Susan, his father Joe (Arthur) and mother Shirley (Helen). He is survived by his sisters Janie (Wayne) Nichol, Mary (Jerome) Afelskie and his nephew Taylor, (Sarah) Nichol, his niece Kayleigh (Ryan) McCrae and his great nephews Blake, Cole, Jack and his great niece Myleigh.
Jack was well loved and cared for by the staff at Community Living Pembroke throughout much of his life. He was especially fond of his Meggie, who provided much love, support and advocacy for his many needs throughout the past years. He will be missed by his roommate of many years, Arnie.
A small private gathering will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. to remember Jack. Burial will follow at Melville United Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted by, Community Living – Upper Ottawa Valley and can be made online at www.zohrfuneralhome.com
