HEIDEMAN, Joan Phyllis Ann
May 31, 1947 – April 29, 2024
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Surrounded by her family, Joan passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital in her 76th year. Joan was the loving wife of Dale Heideman. Joan is survived by her devoted children Dwayne (Diane Heideman) and Deborah (Stanley Mercredi). She will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren Melissa (Kyle Copeland), Tracy (Cody Russell), Samantha Heideman (Braedon Roesler), Amber-Lee Howell, Brent Howell (Kaitlyn Milligan) and Sabrina Heideman (Aidan Corbell) and 11 great-grandchildren Cash, Aidan, Aiden, Zoey, Madalynn, Alaina, Carter, Waylon, Charlotte, Nolan and Colt, her sisters Bernadette Sell, Jane Mason and brother Terry (Phyllis Tracey), brother and sister in-laws Ray (Luella Heideman), Eddie (Donna Heideman), Earl (Shirley Heideman).
Joan will join in paradise with her parents Leo Tracey and Irma (Hanniman) and her parent’s in-law Lavern Heideman and Beatrice (Johnston).
Joan was very devoted to her family, she had so much love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She wore her heart on her sleeve and would go up and beyond for everyone and always put others before herself, she would go that extra mile for her loved ones and friends. Joan had a passion for her flower gardens and crab apple trees she took great pride in them. She loved to knit in her spare time, but most of all she would cherish her time with her family always lending a helping hand.
Joan’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A private family Graveside Service will be held at Sebastopol Baptist Cemetery (374 Baptist Church Road, Foymount) in the afternoon of Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. James The Less Roman Catholic Church or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.
