Anna passed away peacefully at Carleton Lodge with family by her side on April 1, 2024. Born in the Netherlands on April 2, 1931. Predeceased by her husband Martin (2006).
Loving mother of Peter (Anna) of Northbrook, Geraldine (Dennis Delaney) of Stittsville, Tim (Rosanne) of Metcalfe, as well as lifelong foster children Jane (Emeric Etmanskie) of Renfrew and Jack Lance (Chrissy) of Barry’s Bay.
Dear grandma and great grandma to her 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Anna was also a loving foster mother to many over the years and a much loved aunt by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Frans, Bernard, Harrie, Marinus and sister, Dora. Survived by her youngest sister Miet (all in the Netherlands).
Thank you to Carleton Lodge and a special, heartfelt thank you to West Carleton Village staff, where Ann resided for the last seven years.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, Brudenell at 1:00 pm. Burial at Our Lady of the Angels Parish Cemetery.
