BANYARD, Robert (Bob) John
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bob, in his 94th year on Saturday March 9, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Loving partner, for 71 years, to Norene MacPhail. Brother to Albert Banyard (Adele-deceased). He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his siblings, Mel Banyard (Josephine), Margaret Gableman Harvey Banyard (Elsie), Jean Kean (Ronald), and William Millar (Winifred).
Bob retired after 30 years from Dofasco.
He was an avid aviation and car enthusiast, but his real passion was playing his bagpipes. Over the years, he proudly piped at many different functions.
Special thanks to Kathleen Simpson for all her help and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date.
