With a surprise diagnosis of cancer and a whirlwind of a month we announce the passing of Robert Gallant of Dundas on October 17, 2024. Beloved husband of Tracy, and cherished son of Rodney and the late Margaret Gallant. Loving father of Andrew, Kayla (Tyler), and Thomas, and Bailey, the dog. Dear brother of Dan (Elise), Pat (Shelley), and Jim (Cathy). Uncle of Michael (Dannielle), and Jason (Becca), and great-uncle of Evelyn, and Cadance.
The truck hasn’t moved in weeks. The tools are still and quiet. The trains aren’t running. Guitars are silent and the freezer is full of ice cream. The smells of coffee and cigarettes are gone.
A celebration of life will take place at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King Street East, Dundas on Sunday October 27, 2024, from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (additional parkin g at the Air Force Club).
In lieu of flowers a donation in Robert’s name to Margaret’s Place, 170 Ogilvie Street, Dundas, is greatly appreciated. Special thanks to doctors, nurses, specialists, OT’s, volunteers, neighbours, and friends that helped him through this fight.
