Peacefully with his daughters by his side, on December 13th, Richard passed away and joined his loved ones on the other side.
He was the proud father of Kendra (Steve) and Katie (Brett), and proud grandfather to Isaac and Grace. Brother of Terry (Debbie) and Rod (Kim), and uncle to many. Predeceased by his father Charles Court and mother Lorraine (Esson) Burt.
He loved living on the dead end street in Millgrove, where he was always surrounded by neighbours who felt like family.
His career as a Professional Engineer spanned many years and included positions with Shell, Mohawk College, Hamilton Health Sciences, and since 2006, as CEO of Court Consulting Incorporated.
The family would like to thank Dr. Oren Levine and Dr. Ben van der Woerd for their respectful and gentle care.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King Street East, Dundas, ON (additional parking at the Air Force Club).
A special celebration of life will be held in the Spring in true Richard Court style.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Juravinski Cancer Centre if you are able.
