It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dora Shirley Rogers (née Gordon) on Monday, October 21, 2024. Shirley was predeceased by her sister Lorraine (Gerry), and daughter Suzanne (Guy), and is mourned by her loving sons Phil (Catherine), Kane (Dee), Jack (Lisa), and Adam (Rita), and her grandchildren Nicole (Ben), Renee (Cody), Jason (Chantelle), Jesse (Keely), Adam (Rachel), Rachelle (Lucan), Jessica (Paul), Julian (Hillary), Alissa, Zakari, and Leila. She was a great -grandmother to Emery, Adeline, Nolan, Cooper, Carter, Ayla, Milo, Rozalynn, and Vivienne.
Shirley’s family was her greatest treasure. She loved sharing special occasions and holidays with everyone at home and on many occasions in BC and Alberta over the years. Her many hand-sewn creations for family members are a testament to the love and care she put into everything she did and will be forever cherished by those who love her.
Cremation has taken place, and private gatherings will be held in her honour.
