It is with great sadness we announce that on Monday September 16, 2024, at Juravinski
Hospital, Albert took his “ Final Lap”, at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his wife Adele (2002). He will be forever missed
by his daughters Kim (son in law Terry Watts), and Tracey.
Also predeceased by his siblings Robert (Norene), Mel (Josephine),
Margaret Gableman, Harvey (Elsie), Jean Kean (Ronald), and William Millar
(Winifred). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Albert worked as a self-taught millwright, but his real passion in life was
anything auto racing related. He was extremely proud to be a founding
member of The Can-Am Midget Racing Club, where he raced for many years.
Once he hung up his helmet, he still remained active within the Club as
an Official.
Albert always greeted people with a big smile and a firm handshake. He
always took time to chat, talk racing or just lend a hand.
Special thanks to Jim Young and family, Dan and Cathy Block, Tori Lynn
and Tammy and Mike McDonald.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday November 17, 2024 from
1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Binbrook Agricultural Hall (Fairgrounds)
2600 Hwy 56, Binbrook.
