Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the age of 82. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Dawn is survived by her husband Gerry, her three children Ken (Liz), Michael (Jill), and Karen (Dave) Hall and six grandchildren; Darrell, Eric, Jessica, Mason, Benjamin and Brandon. She will be missed by her brothers Gord (Barbara) (predeceased by Ann) and Rick (Lina). A proud member of Beta Sigma Phi, Dawn forged lifelong friendships with her sorority sisters. She dedicated part of her life to working with special needs children, showing compassion and commitment to making a difference. Dawn was also an active member of the Women’s Probus Club and senior centre, where she enjoyed connecting with friends and engaging in activities. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 7 – 9 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
