It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of John Wilfrid MacDonald on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. Joseph Continuing Care Center, Cornwall at the age of 75 years. Dear brother of Terrance MacDonald (late Susan), late Ronald MacDonald, late Maurice MacDonald, step brother of Wayne McGill (Joanne), Rodney McGill (Gwen), Shawn McGill and late Cindy Lou McGill. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his Parents Bernard & Rita MacDonald (nee Fitzsimmons) and step-mother Sylvi McGill-MacDonald. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, May 10, 2024 11 am at St. Andrew’s West Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Bonville Lion’s club 17413 McPhail Road, St. Andrew’s West. Memorial Donations may be made in Wilfrid’s name to the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center. On-line Condolences can be left at www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca
