Francis Alexander Rounding
April 27, 1947 – October 27, 2024
On Sunday, October 27th, 2024 Francis (Tim) Alexander Rounding passed peacefully surrounded by his daughters, sister and niece.
He was the beloved father of Wendy (Stan) Kwapis and Holly (Connie) Rounding, who provided exemplary care to him in his final days. He will be remembered by his grandchildren Stanley (Melanie) Kwapis, Jason (Courtney) Spicer, Elisa Kwapis, and Kristy Ann (Andrew) Spicer as well as his beloved great grandchildren.
Left to mourn is his sister Penny (Bill) Tough, and niece Michelle (André) Beauchamp as well as many other family members and friends who became family, such as Karen-Ann Eenkhorn and June Shopian and her children.
Francis was predeceased by his loving parents Tom and Mary Rounding of Perth and his brother Dan Rounding.
Francis made every one of his 77 years count. He never stopped learning and teaching, whether it be about carpentry or cooking, photography or theology, or Organ Donation a subject near and dear to him. His knowledge was diverse. He was a valued member of Seaway Toastmasters in which he took great pride.
A prankster until the very end, he can rest assured knowing he did have the last laugh. And what more could our father, brother, uncle, and friend have asked for.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street 613-938-3888. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Cornwall. Online condolences may be shared at www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca
