Thomas (Tom) Edgar Warner’s ship has sailed on Wednesday September 25, 2024. Married to the love of his life of 66 years Carol (nee Hurst). Father of John and grand cat Ms. Marble and Susanne (Ray). He will be missed by his sister Diane Numbers (Glen 2023), niece Ejay and nephew Jim, and sister-in-law Donna (Paul Hurst 2021) niece Shelley and nephew Andrew and families.
His life was full of hockey, playing, coaching and watching (Chicago). He met many friends along the way in 11 communities in Ontario while working at CIBC bank. The last community of Southampton where the bank he opened is still there. He was born and raised in Collingwood (Cedar Street) and met Carol on Minnesota St. where he last lived.
Tom’s family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Nava and all the nursing staff on the west wing of Sunset Manor.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment service will be held. As an expression of sympathy donations to Collingwood General & Marine Hospital or charity of choice would be appreciated. Tom loved animals and they were always welcome in his home.
