Passed away peacefully on Monday August 12, 2024, at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital surrounded by the love of her family.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth “Jeep” Jackson. Left behind are sons, Mike (Doreen), Paul (Karen) and Rob (Dawn) Jackson. She was proud grandma to seven grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle) Jackson, Courtney (Andy) Comly, Lauren (Gary) Jeffrey, Tara (Paul) Smit, Taylor Jackson (Shane McDonald), Alex (Kristy) Jackson and Spencer Jackson. Cherished great grandmother to Maddy, Ashley, Hanna, Fitzgerald, Edie, Callen, Bennett, Carter, Emery, Gracey and Jaden.
Shirley was born in Collingwood November 19, 1932, to parents Alexander and Ann McLean. She is predeceased by her brother Ross and sister-in-law Dianne McLean. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Friday August 16, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday August 17, 2024. Interment at First Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House in Shirley’s memory.
