Maleine Jeannette Fredricks born March 23, 1945, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England. Went to Winterstoke Girls School and became senior prefect deputy head girl. Left school at 15 and went to work for Marks & Spencer retail stores. Moved to London at 17. Aged 22 emigrated to Canada May 1967.
Started in the filing department of Aetna Insurance Company which became Chateau Ins and started my courses to become an insurance underwriter with AIIC. Went on to U of T to get my FIIC, and CRM with Zurich Ins. Retired age 60 and enjoyed it with good times with my friends and dog Chelsea. Interests were watching Rugby, did sailing, skiing, swimming, played tennis and pickle ball. Traveled to many continents and countries.
Wilfred Carlton Fredricks and mother predeceased me, and I leave behind my sister Keri Staddon, niece Brianna Staddon and brother-in-law Barry Staddon. I send my love to all the people and friends in particular I wish to thank Sylvia Vignale, Jayne Savage, Pat Tilley and Kathy Parker who brought me through my final days. I have met and played with so many great people and hope they stay safe and well. Instead of flowers please donate to Georgian Triangle Humane Society. A cremation has taken place.
