The family of Kevin Walt is sad to announce his passing on May 20, 2024 at the age of 74 after a short illness. Kevin was the husband of Wanda (Lougheed), the father of Tracy (Steve) King, Trish (Martin) Fleming and Jay (Kim) Walt. He was papa to Cassandra Fleming (Tyler Zganec), Stephenie King and Danyelle Fleming and Great Papa to Hudson Zganec. He was a brother to Jim (Charlene) Walt and Sue Broadbent. He will be sadly missed by many brother & sister in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to Dr. Cornell and staff, the emergency department doctor and nurses and the nursing staff on the medical floor at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital. Kevin/dad received excellent care while at the hospital in his last few months. Special thanks to nurses Patti & Michelle and the nursing staff on the medical floor team.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 11:00am at Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario St, Collingwood. Luncheon to follow. Donations can be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
