Buchan, Kenneth Michael passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday October 5, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family. Ken will be deeply missed by his loving wife Elizabeth (nee Pelland). Ken was born November 13, 1957 in Lindsay, Ontario to parents John and Monica Buchan. The youngest of 11 children, he is survived by his brothers Dominic, Frank and Paul and sisters Patricia, Diane and Mary; predeceased by his brothers John, Edward and Robert and sister Marie. He will be remembered by his mother in law Cecile (the late Maurice) Pelland, sister in law Liane (Vito) Chitani and his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ken worked for many years at Sanfilippo Produce and as a custodian at St. Mary’s. He will be missed by many in our community and will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and kindness. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday October 20, 2023. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House or St. Vincent de Paul in Ken’s memory.
