Glenn Gordon Rice “Wally”
Passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospice on May 27th 2024 at the age of 70.
Survived by his loving wife Joyce (Halliday) of 49 years.
Lovingly remembered by his children Tina DeForest (Jason) and Kevin (Cathy) his grandchildren Michael (Alysha), Cassandra (Brandon), Tyler, Kaleb, Brodie and Karlee. His great grandchildren Sharlet, Reed, Mason, Lucas, Maxwell, Sylas and Carter.
His brother Steve (Cindy) and sisters Wendy Mullen (Jimmy) and Deb Mink (Jim Fraser). As well as the many family and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Gordon and Norah Rice and brothers Paul and Billy.
Glenn was affectionately known as Uncle Wally to his many “favourites “ and enjoyed all things life offered. Camping, fishing, cards and Baking to name a few. Glenn also loved to entertain with his guitar and a song and made videos to cheer up family as they are what was most important to him.
A heart felt Thank you to the staff and volunteers of Wellington Hospice for the compassionate care and support.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. at the Duntroon Community Centre.
