St. Amand, Catharine Johanna “Toos” passed away peacefully on Saturday February 17, 2024, at the age of 85 following a challenging decline related to dementia. Catharine was predeceased by her husband Arnold (2012). She will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Mary Beth Pockaj, Dan (Brenda) and Rob (Kelly) St. Amand and cherished grandmother of Serena (Trevon), Mel (Lisa), Stefani, Matthew, Jessica, Sydney, Brandy and Tiffany and great grandmother of Brayden.
The only daughter born to parents Marinus and Johanna Meesters, she is survived by her brother Arnold (Mary) Meesters and sisters in law Bonnie, Denise, Charlotte, and Judy Ann; predeceased by brothers Rene (Corrie), Adam, Nick, Joe, John (Thelma) and Casey. She will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations in Catharine’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
