The family of Bill Hamilton sadly announces his sudden passing, with his family by his side, on March 20, 2024, age 82 years, at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood. He leaves behind his wife Wendy, son Craig and his wife Megan and grandson Morrison, his daughter Tori, her husband Frank and their many animals. Bill’s death leaves, a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends. The family is especially grateful to the medical staff on the surgical floor at RVH and the staff at Campbell House for their compassion and patience as they all walked us through an excruciatingly painful few weeks. Bill was a lifelong Hamilton Tiger Cat’s fan, following them religiously over the years. As a family, they spent many fun filled winters skiing at Blue Mt. He met his wife at Toronto Ski Club. Bill was so very proud of his children Craig & Tori and their accomplishments. He loved playing golf and encouraged his children to enjoy it as well, teaching Tori to love the sport and cheering her on as she progressed. In his later years, he played golf at Cranberry Golf Club with the ‘Old Farts’ and attended the Canadian Open yearly with Craig who flew in from NS to accompany him. He loved watching Oak Island with Craig and they actually visited the site in NS. Bill & his wife Wendy began a love for antiques early in their 50 year marriage, buying & selling (and keeping quite a lot) along the way. We will miss him every day. ❤️ In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to hospicegeorgiantriangle.com/ . We are forever grateful to have this exceptional facility in our community.
