Copeland, Andrew Watson passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 7, 2023, at his home in Collingwood, just shy of his 82nd birthday.
Andy, loving husband of Patricia (Pat), predeceased, leaves behind son Chris (Jocelyn) and his daughter Andrea. He will be forever cherished by his 3 grandchildren Kylie, Tyler and Connor.
Andy was born and raised in Elmvale to parents Watson and Cecelia, predeceased by brother Tom and sister Susie.
The legend began on December 16, 1941, with his love and talent for sports and all things social from an early age. Andy’s passions led him to trade in his suit and tie from his early corporate life for building his sporting goods dream, Frikon Industries.
Andy was a trailblazer and trendsetter. With his love Pat at his side and treasured friends, he led an adventurous life of travel, celebration, and leisure. Dad loved cottage days at the beach with his grandchildren, evening sunsets, and parties with friends and family.
Known for his original humour, savvy fashion style, genuine heart and glass-half-full outlook on E V E R Y T H I N G, Andy truly is a legend who will be deeply missed by everyone he touched.
Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home on Friday November 17, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. A celebration of life will follow.
