Peacefully at the Hospice at Maycourt on Friday evening, December 13, 2024; Marie Paul Lise Claudette Collaço of Ottawa passed away at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Osias and Corinne (nee Bastien) Lahaie. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Collaço. Dearest sister and best friend of Lucille Lahaie-Moreau (late Victor Moreau). Fondly remembered stepmother of: Wandini Noal and her children Samantha Noal, Jonathan Noal; Amita Collaço, and her children Yanni and Anil Kuhn; Nina Collaço and her son Elie Christian Lion; Rosamond Collaço-Wyman and her children, Marisha and Nigel Collaço-Wyman and great-grandchildren: Sunny, Hunter and Cassian – Drea as well as Dominic Collaço.
Claudette’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Church, Cobourg, Ontario on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery.
