Passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Friday, December 6, 2024, Albert Sanders of Finch, age 78. Devoted and loving husband of Rosemary Sanders (nee Rady) for almost 55 years. Loving father of Krista Wells (Dale), Rhonda Smith (Barry), Shelley Lalonde (Kevin) and Gregory Sanders (Ashley Orr). Dear brother of Henk Sanders (Barb Baker), Judy Beehler (John), Nancy Konink (Lawrence), Tony Sanders (Rejeanne), Hilda Gillard (John), Linda Carruthers (Parry) and Steven Sanders (Anne Marie). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Albert will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Seth, Evan, Delaney, Matthew, Warren, Reid, Shaelah, Carmen, Grace and Taylor. Loving brother-in-law of Bertha Rady, Janetta Ouderkirk (Reg), Bill Rady (Sue). Loving uncle of Morley Ouderkirk (Tracey) and Sacha and Thomas Rady. He was predeceased by his parents Antonius and Janna Sanders (nee Prins) and his sister-in-law Elaine Sanders.
Albert, a hard working successful farmer with a dairy farm, avid cash-cropper and his final passion being an Eastern Ontario Maple Syrup Producer owning Sanders Maple Products with his family by his side for 35 years.
Funeral Arrangements
A public graveside service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville on Wednesday, December 11th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at the Finch Community Centre. In honor of Albert, donations can be made to having a Maple Tree planted in his honor at Berwick Recreatiional Park. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
