Dorothy Isobel (Steinhagen) Wilken of Elmwood, passed away at The Village Seniors’ Community Long Term Care, Hanover, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in her 92nd year.
Survived by her sister Mildred (Jim) Evans of Guelph, her niece Debra Steinhagen of Guelph, many nieces and nephews, and her daughter-in-law Tresa Bromley of Elmwood. She was predeceased by her husband David (1992), her son George (2016), her daughter Linda (2021), her sisters Ruth and Clara, her brothers Orval, Arnold, Wilbert, Lloyd, Donald, Leonard, and her parents William and Isabelle (Watke) Steinhagen.
A funeral service honouring Dorothy’s life will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1 p.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brant Township.
Memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
