It’s with great sadness that we share the news of William’s peaceful passing on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. William was born in Poland, Ontario 88 years ago, son of Herman and Clara McInnes.
William is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Dollena, He will be deeply missed by his children Leona (Eric Hickland), Cynthia (Arthur Worsnop) and William (Carrieann McInnes). William will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, Crissy (Nick), Brandi, Carter, Kyle (Sarah), Kody, Alannah (Zac), Connor and Aiden along with his great grandchildren Gracie, Mason, Dylan, Liam, Addilyn, Isaiah and Paisley. William will be missed by his extended family and friends.
Per William’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
