Robert “Bob” Jones passed away peacefully at home Thursday, November 23, with loved ones at his side. Bob will be dearly missed by his wife Carol, his daughter Kathryn and husband Tyler, step-children Colleen, Lisa, Jennifer and Rob and their families, brother Terry Jones, and dear friends Karl and Janette, Ed and Judy, and Greg.
In good spirits even in his final moments, Bob will be remembered for his warm outgoing nature – the way he made people smile wherever he went.
Bob’s family would like to thank Home and Community Care Support Services, especially Lisa and Erin, and the amazing care partners involved, Willie, who assisted Bob through his end of life transition, the community at Thames Towers, and all the incredible doctors, health care staff, specialists and pharmacists who supported Bob’s health needs over the years.
No service or celebrations are planned at this time. He has generously donated his body to the Schulich School of Medcine at the University of Western Ontario for research purposes.
