Robert Gerard “Bob” Carron passed away on Friday, December 14, 2024 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Chatham 75 years ago, Bob was the son of Alphonse Carron (1975) and Gertrude Pinssoneault (1997). Dear husband of Mary Ann. Loving father of Lisa and Cheryl. Grandpa of Jazmin, Sarah, and Madeline. Predeceased by his siblings Anne Marie (1941), Charles (1980) (Louise – 2022), Roberta (1994) (Wayne – 1997), Jacques (2012), and Jean Louis (2022) (Judy – 2020). Cherished brother of Roger (Marcia), Paul, Fran (Bill – 2006), Rene (Cathy), Marie (Jean-Luc), Yvon (Cathy – 1998), and Bernadette (John Paul). Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bob will be dearly missed by his family.
Bob worked at Heinz in Leamington for approximately 35 years. He enjoyed spending time, and playing with his grandkids. He enjoyed doing crosswords and Sudoku.
A private celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
