Peacefully, with her niece by her side and under the dedicated care at Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown, Ontario. On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Joan Elaine Beaudry, age 81, was reunited with the love of her life, Bernard Beaudry (2020).
Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario in 1943, Joan is the youngest daughter of the late Pauline (Timchuk) and Morley Gibson. Cherished sister to the late Howard Gibson (late Louisa), survived by her sister Carole (late Ken). Special Grammie to Zachry, Jacob and Anthony. Remembered by her Beaudry family. Admired for her artistic talents and creativity by her many nieces and nephews.
Joan followed family tradition in her devotion to her dogs and her delight with all creatures great and small.
The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Village on the Ridge for their care and kindness as Joan navigated her memory loss.
A private family visitation has taken place and burial will be in Les Jardins du Souvenir Cemetery, Gatineau Quebec, on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:30pm.
