Harold “Hal” William Saddington passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Hal was born in London, Ontario 73 years ago, son of Charles “Fred” and Edna Saddington. Loving husband of Maria “Mia” Saddingon (nee Steeghs) for 47 years. Father of Ken Saddington (Stephanie) and Sara Saddington (Michael Little). Beloved Grampa of Sienna and Sophia Saddington. Brother of Nancy Maguire (Leroy), and Ron Saddington (Donna Proulx). Brother-in law of the late Gina Vandenbogaart (the late Louis), the late Nellie Vandervenne (Ad), Gerda Buzan (Karl), Agnes Lamers (William), Martin Steeghs (Regina), John Steeghs (Ivy Van Essen), the late Anita Steeghs, and Jeannette Roach (Ron). Hal will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Family life was Hal’s main priority. He will be fondly remembered as a reliable and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

All are welcome to attend visitation at St. Ursula Parish (205 Tweedsmuir Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M 5N8), December 2, 2023 from 9:30am to 11:00am with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am.
