Brian Donald Douglas, of Wallaceburg, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at CK Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brockville 70 years ago, Brian was the son of the late Donald and Viola and step father Clarence Burger. Devoted husband of Sharon Douglas (nee Rabishaw). Loving father of Jeff and Sue, Matthew, Christopher and Shannon, Sean and Deanna, Krystal and Randy, and the late Susan. Proud Grandfather and Great grandfather of Jasmine, Jadeus, Aaliya, Mason, Emerson, Dakota, Danielle, Jamie, Zach, Mitchell, Bradyn, Kyrstan, Breanne, Ryan, Malcolm, Taylor, Addy, Xander, Everley, Jayden, Josephine, Wesley, Alannah, Grayson, Colt, Gage and Kason. Brother of Sandra Douglas, the late Wayne Douglas, and Dwight and Lorraine Shultz Douglas. Brian is also survived by his best friends/brothers since 1966, Mike McElroy and Frank Della Malva.
Brian spent his working years as a set up operator. For 30 years he played the bass guitar in Country Blue Jeans in Pembroke and in Rebound in Guelph. Brian thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Chatham Kent Hospice for their incredible care of Brian and his family. They truly went above and beyond.
