Loving father of Michael, the late Phillips (2003) (Hollie Schmidt), Janine (Wes Chandler) (Late Richard Pearce), the late Deborah (2008), Jessica (the late Time McLellan 2009), David (Kathy Robinson), Brian (A. Lauzon), Peter (Margaret Heffren), the late Stanley (1995), Monique (Alan) Rintaniemi, Cecile (Jim) Hochreiter, John (Barbara LeClair).
He is the grandfather of Michelle Smith, Amie Rivest – the late Brandan Rivest (2019) and Matt Rivest, James Pearce and Nick Pearce, Corey Rivest, Adam McLellan and Justin McLellan, Lisa Hebert and Becky Lanoue, Tara Rintaniemi – Kaitlynn Rintaniemi and Alyssa Longoria, Erin Siefker – Eric Cazabon – Ryan Hochreiter and Emily Hochreiter, Amanda Rivest and Bryan Rivest.
Dad is also a great and great great grandfather to many.
Loving brother predeceased by the following brothers and sisters, Annella (late Aldege) Pillon, Blanche Rivest, Origene (late Dora) Rivest, Raymond (late Jeannette) Rivest, Bernadette (late Raymond) Schiller, Guillaume (late Ceile) Rivest, Marguerite (late Louis) Cazabon, John Jr (late Thelma Rivest, Cahtering (Late Roaire) Bissonnette, survived by Angela (late Edward Bechard and Louis Chauvin), and predeceased also by Edward (Florence) Rivest. Also survived by many nephews and nieces.
As requested by our father, a cremation will take place. Interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Staples and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
