It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Carol Anne Agnew. On Saturday, October 12th, 2024, Carol peacefully left us at the age of 79, following a brief illness, to reunite with her late husband, Ron, in Heaven.
Loving mother to Cynthia Savage (Kevin), Bruce Agnew (late Lindsey), and Carolyn Cox (Sean), Carol was a devoted grandmother to Tyler Agnew (Janelle), Kayla, and Brayden Cox, all of whom were touched by her warmth and love. Predeceased by her husband, Ronald, Carol’s spirit and love for her family was one of a kind.
Carol spent many years as a chocolate maker for Walker’s Chocolates and was an active member of her church at Shoreacres. She cherished time with family and friends, often enjoying meals or coffee together, and was well-known for her impressive appetite!
An avid animal lover, Carol had a special place in her heart for dogs and horses. Her compassion extended far beyond her family, reflecting her selflessness and thoughtfulness. Known for her friendly demeanor and quiet strength, she was always ready with a smile, a supportive email or card, and a listening ear. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Shoreacres Bible Chapel. For those unable to attend, a live stream will be available. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, in honor of Carol’s love for animals.
