At the Smiths Falls hospital on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the age of 93. Loving companion of Colleen Knapp. Dear father of Pennylynn Bell, Dereke Trimble, Terrie Lemay and Randy Trimble. Predeceased by his daughter Tracey Lynn. Proud grandpa to 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Doris Porteous, Anne Bourne and Leona Allan. Predeceased by sister Marjorie Long and brothers Douglas Cameron and Ernie. Friends may support the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, ON (613 257-3113), on Tuesday October 31, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon for visitation only. Interment to follow at United Cemeteries. For those who wish, a donation to the Carleton Place Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
