Lesley “Nanna” Inker
Lesley Ann Inker, who loved to be called “Nanna” by her Grandchildren departed her loving family on 23rd November 2023.
Born in Havant, Hampshire on 10th September 1959 to naval seaman James Charlton Scott and Phyllis Doreen Scott (nee Harris), Lesley spent her baby years in Singapore and Malta before moving back to her grass roots of Southern England with soon to be born siblings Susan Jayne Scott and Kim Louise Scott. Lesley was the mother to Scott Andrew, Adam Craig and Rebecca (Becky) Lee Inker. She raised her children with love, devotion and as a role model in Hespeler, Cambridge, Ontario together with her husband Craig Andrew Inker.
As a Health and Safety Coordinator, Lesley was known for providing support and guidance to others while also adding “that helping hand.” In addition, Lesley was renowned for caring for others and those in need. That infectious laugh and beaming smile just crystallized ongoing friendships. While having that ability to harmonize with others, Lesley always had the gift of being able to devote time to those “special moments” with family. That balance of being disciplined, fair and igniting was centered on Lesley’s success as a spouse, parent, co-worker and friend. She is survived by Scott, Adam, Becky and Grand Children Isla, Rosie and Eli.
A celebration of Lesley’s life will take place at the Duke and Duchess, Cambridge on 1st December 4pm to 7pm all invited.
In lieu of flowers, donations to NSD, National Service Dogs, 1286 Cedar Creek Road, Cambridge, Ontario N1R 5S5 can be made in Lesley Ann Inker’s name.
