On December 6, 2024 , Lauraine passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Normand Bilodeau. Dear mother of Suzanne Pardy (Gerald), Denise Bilodeau, Louise Bilodeau, Maurice Bilodeau (Monica), Michelle Fishman (Igor).Loving Grandmother of Michelle Dutra (Aaron), Matthew Pardy, Johnny Ferguson, Richard Ferguson, Abigail Bishop (Mark), Phillip, Alexandra, Stephen, Nicholas, Isaac, Anastasia, Joshua Bilodeau, Emily, Zachary, Natasha and Rachel Fishman and 3 great grandchildren, Marques and Adelaide Dutra and Io Bilodeau.
Lauraine is survived by her brothers Real, Richard, and her sister Lina Heath. Predeceased by her parents Telesphore and Annie Dugal, her brothers Elric, Germain and Regis. She was an aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Catholic faith was a very important part of her life. In her later years she was able to enjoy travelling with Normand when she was not working at a job she enjoyed as a store manager for Little Short Stop. She also enjoyed spending time with family whether it be a Christmas gathering or a family member’s birthday celebration.
A special thank you goes out to Pat LanFranchi for the care she provided to our mom and for the support to our family. We were blessed to have her. Special thanks also goes out to Celia Lima RN, BScN and Dr. Peter Spadafora of Stepping Stones Palliative Concierge Services, for their compassionate and timely care. Their support ensured mom had the best end of life care possible.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St N, Cambridge Ontario, Visitation will be from 5pm-9pm on Monday December 9, 2024. Funeral Mass will be held at St.Clement’s RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge Ontario on Tuesday December 10th 2024 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. A light luncheon will follow in the church’s basement hall.
