Passed away peacefully at St. Andrew’s Terrace, Cambridge, on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in her 102nd year. Dear daughter of the late George and Magdalena Read.
Beloved wife of the late John Brent (1995). Loving mother of Kenneth (Darlene), Wendy (Rick), Ian (Rhonda), Alan, Richard and mother-in-law of Hugie, and Patti. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty (Henry), Sandra (Gerry), and Ron (Gayle).
Grace was predeceased by sons Terry (2016), and Brian (2021), sisters Dorothy (Bob), Murial (Ron) and brothers George (Beatrice), and Douglas (Marilyn).
Grace’s family will receive relatives and friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Saturday, October 28th from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 1pm. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
