It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ray on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Loving husband and best friend of Gail for almost 55 years. He is survived by their children Jacqueline (Mike) and Matthew (Jamie). Predeceased by both parents and his twin brothers. He is survived by his younger sister Nancy. A cherished and loved grandfather of Jacob, Nicholas, Payton, Bailey, and Brooklyn. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ray was an active Scout leader, trainer and District Commissioner. His love for camping, canoeing and fishing lives on with his son. Ray was loved by all and a friend to many. He will be missed!
Carpe Diem was a motto Gail and Ray lived by. “Heaven will be a better place with Ray, and I will join the love of my life one day. – Gail”. Following Ray’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. Friends are invited to call at MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 28 Caithness Street East, Caledonia on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
