KONJEVIC, Sofia (nee: Leskovec) – Beloved wife, mother, sister, nana and friend, peacefully passed away at
Etobicoke General Hospital on June 9, 2024 after a long battle with many health issues.
Sofia grew up in Sudbury, Ontario with parents Anne and Louis Leskovec, and siblings Tina Steinbach
and Louis Leskovec. She later married Dragutin Konjevic and moved to Etobicoke, Ontario where she became the loving and proud mother of Christina Tenaschuk (Brian). Sofia adored her two grandchildren, Connor and Serena Tenaschuk. Most of all, Sofia will be remembered for her beautiful smile, empathy, compassion, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family. May Sofia rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who passed before her, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
Service to take place at Bayview Mausoleum, 740 Spring Gardens Rd. (Burlington) on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 9:30am.
Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road.
