NIELSEN, Shirley Elizabeth
Passed peacefully at home with her daughters by her side, in Burlington on January 31st 2024, at the age of 81. Much loved Mother of Julie (Mike), and Allison (Joe). She was the adored Nana Shirley of Troy and Maeve, who will greatly miss her in their daily lives. Beloved wife of 49 years of the late Erik Nielsen (2013). Our Mother lived a full life, with teaching, volunteering, and travelling the world with family and friends. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity that most reminds you of mom.
