Marjorie Barnes passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour in her 103rd year on Friday November 15 at Hamilton General Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband Norman, and two sons Graham, and Douglas. Marjorie leaves behind son Philip (Marilyn), daughters-in-law Esther (Graham) and Morven (Douglas), grandchildren Nathan, Naomi, Joshua, Jessica, Christy, Melissa, Heather and 12 great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was a remarkable woman who brought joy to all who knew her. She had a sincere interest in people and a genuine concern for problems others were facing. She had an abiding, consistent faith in God throughout all her days with the spiritual well-being of her family her highest priority. She remained sharp and alert to the end which was her great wish.
A memorial service will be held at Bay Gardens, 1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington,ON, on Friday November 29, 2024 with visitation from 1:00 pm, service at 2:00 pm, reception and refreshments to follow immediately at Bay Gardens.
