It is with heavy hearts the we announce Antony Dups has passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2024 at 86 years of ag after a long battle with his health.
He will be missed and remembered fondly forever by his wife Hannelore, Son Ralph, Daughter-in-Law Anna, grandchildren Benjamin, Karina, Nicole and Cassandra as well as his great grandchild Eliana. Tony was pre-deceased by his son David in 2001.
Tony loved to tinker around the house with anything and everything that needed fixing, he was very mechanically inclined and took on projects most would never consider. He loved gardening and cats. In his early years with his 2 young boys, he enjoyed going on camping and fishing trips.
We wish to thank all the kind people that helped Tony over the past 16 months, working toward a recovery. A special thank you to the Doctor and Nursing teams of McMaster Health Sciences (Juravinski & General Hospital).
Arrangement shave been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home at 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington. A time for visitation will be held on April 4th from 10:00am – 11:00 at Bay Gardens followed by a Funeral service at 11:00am in the Chapel. Cemetery Service to follow at adjacent Woodland Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to McMaster Health Sciences or Salty Animal Rescue (saltyanimalrescue.com).
